Nooki's blog

Here you won't find articles written just to fill space. We write about what families ask us: how much screen time is reasonable, why one toy lasts for years and another for two weeks, what to gift so it doesn't end up in a corner, and how to know if what you're buying is truly safe.

We are a store, so we have an interest. We compensate for this with a rule: if the honest answer to a question is "don't buy anything," we write it anyway. There's an entire article on how to play more with fewer toys that goes exactly in that direction.

Fifteen articles, organized into five topics. All signed by the team, all with sources visible when we cite data.

Less screen time

The problem isn't your child. It's that there's nothing at home to compete with the tablet. These four articles are about what to put in that gap.

And if you want the summary on one page: no screens, no tantrums, just play.

Montessori at home

Without dogmas and without buying half the catalog. Which principles truly work in a normal apartment.

How they play and how they develop

What's happening in those hands, explained without jargon.

Related: 20 minutes of playing together.

Buying well

The boring part that almost no store tells you, because it doesn't sell.

Our own conformity documentation is in safety and conformity.

Gifts

For when a birthday is on Saturday and you don't want to give a noisy plastic gift.

If you're in a hurry: packs and gifts.

How we write this

Three rules, in case they help you judge us:

  1. Data comes with a source. If we cite a recommendation from the Spanish Association of Pediatrics or a European standard, the link is there for you to check.
  2. We don't invent testimonials. Nooki has just started and doesn't have reviews yet. We state this on each product page instead of filling it with opinions from other sellers.
  3. The enemy is the screen, never you. You won't read here that you're doing it wrong.

Missing a topic? Write to us via contact and we'll note it down. And if you want to know who we are before trusting us, it's all on about Nooki.
