Bosque is a round wooden board with turned pieces that hide a colour at the tip. You roll the die, lift two and look for the pair. It sounds simple because it is: the rules take twenty seconds to explain and the first round starts before you have finished explaining them.

Is this not just an ordinary memory game?
The mechanic is, deliberately: it has worked for decades. The difference is the material. A card memory game bends and ends up in the bin within a month. This one lasts years and can be left out in the open.
Is it suitable for a three-year-old?
Yes, playing only at sorting colours. The memory part starts working well at around four.
Does it stand up to daily use?
